Quality fur will last for decades if you just remember the following simple rules for care
- How do I store my purchase?

Never store your Ouroboros fur scarf in a plastic bag. Simply hang your Ouroboros fur scarf on a broad padded clothes hanger, in a cupboard or wardrobe you regularly use. Your fur will be protected from the (sun)light and will be regularly aired out.
- What about rain and snow?

If you happen to get caught in the rain, just hang your Ouroboros fur scarf on a broad (padded) clothes hanger and let it dry, away from any source of heat. Do not use a hairdryer to dry it! Then gently fluff up your Ouroboros fur scarf (don’t comb or brush it).
- What about perfume?

Avoid spraying perfume directly on your fur scarf as this will make the leather dry out. Naturally you can use perfume yourself.
- What about the summer?

Do not store your fur scarf in a plastic bag or in a cellar.
- Cleaning?

We recommend that you clean a fur scarf that is worn frequently at least every two years. This must always be done by a furrier. You can also send us your fur scarf (notify us using the contact form) or bring it to our showroom in Kortenberg for professional cleaning.
